Create with reference images
Guide the subject, style and composition with your own images.
Choose your references
Open Image or Motion and add a PNG, JPG or WebP above your prompt. The uploader accepts originals up to 20 MB and prepares them for the selected model. Supported reference counts depend on your model.
Describe the result
Use @img1, @img2 and the other labels to explain how each reference should guide the image. Include the subject, lighting, composition and the result you want.
Review references before generating
For supported video models, BytePlus must register and approve reference images first. Confirm that you have permission to use the images and any person’s likeness. A spinner means processing, a green tick means approved, and a red cross means the reference needs attention. Use the information icon to review details.
Check your settings
Choose a supported model, aspect ratio and resolution. Video also has duration and audio controls when supported. Review the credit quote, then choose Generate. Uploading a reference does not itself start a generation.
